About the job 🚀

As our Office Manager for Smart’s headquarter in Paris, you will play a central role focusing on soft services to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations. This is a position that requires a high-level of service attitude, communication and negotiation skills. Your mission 👇

Workplace operations

  • Deal with order maintenance when necessary, troubleshoot malfunction of office equipment

  • Take responsibility for day-to-day office and kitchen services; evaluate new products and place orders, while adhering to budget

  • Maintain accurate floor plan and allocate desk space to teams (new starters, welcome pack, security access card…)

  • Maintain regular contact with your whole list of suppliers

  • Welcome external guests, as well as Smarties coming from other  offices, and ensure a great on-site experience

 

Happiness management

  • Design an happiness management strategy plan, aligned on our core values, to enlive our Paris office

  • Manage your own budget to make things happen and ensure an outstanding workplace experience

  • Build strong relationships with Smarties to understand and anticipate their needs

  • Coordinate integration of new employees in Smart life

  • Assist with organization of events (hackathon, meetup, tech talks, drinks, clients events…), manage last minute changes and ensure smooth execution for all teams involved

About you  💪

  • Bachelor Degree with a first experience as an office manager in a fast-paced environment

  • You are recognized as a proactive person, constantly one step ahead and with attention to details

  • You can juggle lots of projects simultaneously and deadlines

  • You have amazing interpersonal skills and can communicate easily with people at all levels

  • You take pride in helping people, solving problems and getting things done

  • You are comfortable to negotiate contracts and track budget through forecasts

  • You have strong computer and Internet skills (MS Office, Google Suite, social networks)

  • Fluent French and English required
